Mini Beef and Cheese Empanadas 

Everything you want in a perfect mini handheld “pie”. Simple ingredients paired with a store-bought chimichurri sauce make these delicious empanadas super easy to prepare in just 40 minutes. 

On round slices of pie crust, place a spoonful of a mixture of ground beef, chopped white onion, and seasonings adobo, paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Top with fontina cheese. Fold the pie crust over the mix then press a fork around the edges to seal the pie crust and brush with egg wash. Bake and serve with sour cream and chimichurri sauce. 

Parm Pesto Twists

The game is half an hour away and the snacks are in demand. Store-bought pesto sauce, pizza dough, and marinara sauce make this appetizer a cinch to prepare, but oh-so-tasty! It’s a hearty snack the whole family will love. 

Roll out the dough and spread pesto sauce evenly on the lower half Sprinkle shredded cheese over the pesto and fold the top half of the dough over the pesto and cheese. Seal the dough and cut it into 12 equal strips. Twist each piece and brush melted butter and garlic powder onto the twists. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the twists and bake. Serve with marinara sauce. 

BBQ Nachos with Carolina Slaw 

Barbecue is serious business, and these BBQ nachos provide the great taste without all the work. Instead of monitoring the smoker for hours, this bite of BBQ is ready in under an hour. 

Layer tortilla chips, Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeño peppers, BBQ pork, and sharp Cheddar cheese and bake until cheese melts. Top with desired toppings, like Carolina Slaw, Tangy White Barbecue Sauce, red onion, or cilantro. Drizzle with your favorite regional-style sauce for a custom flavor. 

Hot Pizza Dip 

Spice up your tailgate with this cheesy, delectable pizza dip that can be made before the quarter is over. 

Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and oregano and spread evenly into a pie plate. Pour pizza sauce over the cream cheese mixture and top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese and diced red peppers. Bake until bubbly and serve with flatbread. 

Jalapeño-Honey Mustard Hot Wings

Cut celery ribs and place in a 6-quart slow cooker crock forming a rack. Layer chicken seasoned with paprika, dry mustard, celery salt, garlic powder, and ground red pepper, melted butter, and celery. Cover and cook. Toss chicken in a homemade Jalapeno-Honey Mustard Yogurt Sauce and serve.
