NFL Teams Help Promote Breakfast Contests

Southeast Dairy Association - Matt Bosher Fuel Up

This past fall, the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans football teams partnered with SUDIA to conduct #FUELGREATNESS breakfast contests in Georgia, Louisiana and Tennessee. More than 300 schools across the three states participated, with top schools receiving a variety of prizes, including pep rallies hosted by team mascots, breakfast parties with NFL players, official team merchandise, autographed footballs, and NFL game tickets.

Georgia Winners                                            

  • Westside Middle (Barrow County School District) – 37 percent breakfast participation increase and 19 percent milk consumption increase
  • Auburn Elementary (Barrow County School District) – 37 percent breakfast participation increase and 28 percent milk consumption increase

Louisiana Winners

  • Seventh Ward Elementary (Vermilion Parish School District) – 42 percent breakfast participation increase and 36 percent milk consumption increase
  • North Banks Middle in (East Baton Rouge Parish School District) – 45 percent breakfast participation increase and 23 percent milk consumption increase

Tennessee Winners

  • Bel-Aire Elementary (Tullahoma City Schools) – 50 percent breakfast participation increase and 47 percent milk consumption increase
  • East Robertson County High School (Robertson County School District) – 47 percent breakfast participation increase and 30 percent milk consumption increase
