If this smoothie bowl doesn’t make you want to go to the Bahamas, I don’t know what will. You can’t go wrong with the flavors of mango and pineapple for a sweet, tropical flavor to make you feel like you’re at the beach. The best part of a smoothie bowl is that you can use any toppings you want. My favorite go-to toppings are a few different types of fruit, coconut, and nut butter but the combinations are endless.
This bowl will also keep you hydrated through those long hot summer days. Because of the natural electrolytes, carbohydrates, and high-quality protein in milk, this bowl would be a great breakfast idea or after any sports game making milk a winner when it comes to rehydration!
You can even add greek yogurt for a little extra protein! A 7-ounce (200-gram) serving of Greek yogurt provides 20 grams of protein, which makes it a high protein food. One of the best ways to support gut health is to include fermented foods in your diet, as these options are sources of live beneficial bacteria, or probiotics. Probiotics from fermented foods join forces with the microbes occupying the gut and help to keep it performing at its peak.
