
All Butter Pie Crust
Create a simple homemade pie crust for either two regular pies or one deep-dish pie of your choosing.

Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, very cold
- 1⁄4 cup ice water
Instructions
- In the bowl of a food processor place flour, sugar and salt. Pulse a few times to combine.
- Cut butter into small cubes and add to flour mix. Blend together gradually adding ice water. Mixture should start to come together and resemble coarse meal. Do not overmix.
- On a floured surface, turn out dough and gather into two equal-sized balls or one large one, depending on need. Flatten into a disk and wrap tightly with plastic wrap; chill at least two hours or overnight.
