The Dairy Alliance recently approved 15 Fuel Up grants in Kentucky for implementation in the 2023-24 school year. These grants, funded by GENYOUth through supplemental funding, will support 9 new smoothie programs, 5 mobile meals with milk programs, and 1 cold milk refrigeration unit. Altogether, 8,008 students in 11 districts throughout the state will be reached. Schools will receive grant equipment in the fall and The Dairy Alliance Youth Wellness Managers will provide training and resources to assist the districts in implementing the programs.
