The Dairy Alliance recently approved 17 Fuel Up to Play 60 grants in Alabama for implementation in the 2023-24 school year. These grants, funded by GENYOUth through supplemental funding, will support 6 new smoothie programs, 8 mobile meals with milk programs and 3 cold milk refrigeration units. These grants will reach 10,145 students in 14 districts throughout the state. This fall, the awarded schools will receive grant equipment and training from The Dairy Alliance Youth Wellness Managers to assist the districts in implementing the programs.
