The Dairy Alliance recently approved 38 Fuel Up grants in Georgia for implementation in the 2023-24 school year. Provided by GENYOUth through supplemental funding, these grants will support 33 new smoothie programs and 5 cold milk refrigeration units. Altogether, these programs reach over 25,000 students in 15 districts throughout the state. Schools will receive grant equipment in the fall, and The Dairy Alliance Youth Wellness Managers will provide training and resources to assist the districts in implementing the programs.
