Bartow County Schools was awarded a Special Alternative Feeding Emergency Grant from The Dairy Alliance to help purchase equipment such as coolers to help transport milk at the appropriate temperature. Bartow County serves around 8,000 meals per day, each served with milk and has four curb-side sites for meal pickup. However, the system has noticed most of their meals to children are received via school buses, requiring more equipment to safely serve meals to students.
