Breakfast in the Classroom

In an effort to increase student participation in school breakfast, White Knoll Elementary started a Breakfast in the Classroom program. To ensure milk made it to the classrooms nice and cold, The Dairy Alliance provided insulated cooler bags to transport milk. All the students and parents of White Knoll Elementary were excited to have this new breakfast option available at school. White Knoll saw a 48 percent increase in breakfast participation and used 238,440 more cartons of milk in the first year of the program. This equals an extra 128,161 pounds of milk being consumed!
