Burritt on the Mountain in Huntsville

Over 400 Hunstville students enjoyed a beautiful spring farm day at Burritt on the Mountain. Students were able to explore agriculture practices and how they have evolved throughout the years. The Dairy Alliance taught students how milk gets from the cow to the grocery store and discussed how cows produce milk! Local dairy farmer, John Burden, brought calves and feed components for the students to see and touch. The day was wrapped up with ice-cold milk and a thank you to the cow that produced it. Students look home dairy-themed promotional items from The Dairy Alliance.
