Eat for Strength, Nashville

Dairy advocate and registered dietitian Karman Meyer appeared on WSMV "Today in Nashville" to discuss how viewers can Eat for Strength, The Dairy Alliance's newest nutrition campaign. Karman explained the importance of dairy foods in addition to an active lifestyle in protecting our brain health, bone health and gut health. She highlighted the benefits of fermented dairy foods, especially for those who are lactose intolerant. Karman also gave tips on how you can pair plants with dairy foods through snacks like parfaits or veggies and cheese, stressing the important benefits of a well-rounded diet that dairy and plant combinations provide also being all 4 nutrients most Americans are missing - calcium, vitamin D, potassium and fiber.
