FoodCon Shows Dairy As Sustainable Choice

FoodCon's annual conference focused on the theme "Cultivating the Future" this year. The Dairy Alliance sponsored the event and provided informative dairy resources to attendees. Afterward, attendees could join a networking event and enjoy Howling Cow ice cream.

FoodCon aims to increase awareness of the sustainable food industry. Through this sponsorship, dairy was given a spotlight for its sustainable production and nutrient package benefiting consumers.

The Dairy Alliance also sponsored a discussion titled "Growing the Future," with Rachel Gray of Grayhouse Farms sitting on the panel. She was joined by leaders of companies researching and selling alternative proteins. The panel discussed meeting the protein and food needs of the future, with Rachel representing the dairy industry. Panelists were quick to state they enjoy dairy products and are not trying to compete with dairy.
