God’s Pantry Talks Dairy On the Air

Michael Halligan, CEO of God's Pantry Food Bank in Lexington, KY, participated in a live interview on WVLK AM to discuss food insecurity in Kentucky and the role The Dairy Alliance has played in assisting their efforts to combat it. In 2018, The Dairy Alliance helped launch the Milk2MyPlate program to purchase coolers to store milk and has continued to donate milk, most recently through Lee Kiefer. In response to the increased need during COVID-19, The Dairy Alliance raised funds to donate cheese slices to Feeding America banks, which God's Pantry is a part of, to serve cheeseburgers.
