One third-grade class at Inman Elementary School in Fayetteville, GA, celebrated a successful Scholastic Reading campaign with a good dairy book and banana splits. The Dairy Alliance's Will McWhirter read “Tales of the Dairy Godmother” about a visit to a dairy farm to see how ice cream is made. The students learned all about the process and received activity sheets, stickers, a cow mask, and other goodies. After the reading, students got to enjoy breakfast banana splits topped with low-fat yogurt and their choice of toppings.
