Horry County's Myrtle Beach High School is participating in the power lunch program, which gives all students the same lunchtime instead of short, split groups, so they have longer to eat. To accommodate the larger attendance at lunch instead of students being split amongst groups, the school needed to move some serving lines, requiring extra coolers to serve milk. The Dairy Alliance awarded a Strive for 35 grant to purchase a new refrigerated dairy cooler to provide milk to all students in their extended. Now all students have access to cold milk with their meals.
