The Dairy Alliance's Matti Coffey got the opportunity to train foodservice managers from the northeastern area of the Kentucky Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) on the subject "Reimbursement to the Max." This training showcases programs that add variety to school menus using dairy. A total of 11 school districts were represented with 80 people present. The training was held at the KEDC building in Ashland. There was great discussion around Moo Brew, Smoothies, and Milk Dispensers program offerings. Everyone in attendance was shown The Dairy Alliance website and resources to learn how to further promote milk in schools.
