Following a Perry County Nutrition Staff training last year, Buckhorn High School decided the Moo Brew program is a good "pick-me-up" for students. Moo Brew rolled out on Friday, January 6th to great success. According to the director, about 75% of the students took a Moo Brew the first day of the program offering. Moo Brew increased school meal participation at Buckhorn by 6% that day!
According to Alexis Martin, the Perry County School Nutritionist, "The students were amazed and the staff stated that they talked about it all day." Due to its popularity, Perry County will be implementing Moo Brew at the other county high school this month.
