The Dairy Alliance's Sarah Hester worked with the NC Department of Agriculture to host "Dairy Day" at the State Farmers Market in Raleigh. Shoppers sampled smoothies made with milk and yogurt, played dairy trivia, and took home The Dairy Alliance recipes and educational materials. Sarah was able to interact with attendees and answer questions about lactose intolerance and dairy nutrition. The market is open year-round and attracts over a million shoppers each year--we look forward to future events at this location promoting milk!
