Roby Elementary Receives Fuel Up to Play 60 Grant

The Dairy Alliance presented a $4,000 Fuel Up to Play 60 grant check to Roby Elementary in Shepherdsville. The Dairy Alliance's Alan Curtsinger spoke to students and teachers about the importance of including dairy in their daily diets. He covered the vital nutrients found in dairy foods such as calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D. Roby Elementary will use the grant funds to update their cold storage in the cafeteria and purchase materials to promote dairy consumption to the students.
