School Meal Program Provides Milk at Dinner, Too

The Dairy Alliance provided coolers to four Iredell-Statesville schools that implemented the After School Supper Meals Program to transport milk and meals in 2018. Now, the results of the program are clear. The average number of meals served per day in these four school increased 4.6% in 2018-2019 and milk usage increased 12.5%. The program has proven so successful that five additional schools implemented the After School Supper Meal Program this 2019-2020 school year.
