The Kentucky State Nutrition Action Council (KY SNAC) acts as a state-level partnership with representation for state agencies and nonprofits that participate and implement USDA programs. Collaboratively, these organizations strive to reach underserved individuals to provide food benefits, nutrition education, healthy community activities, efforts to reduce food insecurity and improve the quality of life for Kentuckians. The Dairy Alliance collaborated with KY SNAC in the creation of the organization's new website, which offers recipes and tips to living a more nutritionally focused lifestyle, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Dairy Alliance provided recipes, research articles, educational resources, dairy industry news and programming information for the council to share. Additionally, The Dairy Alliance is listed as a partner organization, along with contact information to receive additional resources for dairy promotion, providing opportunities for more Kentucky residents to learn how to include dairy products in their daily lives.
