Touchdown School Awards

Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassadors Elizabeth Ballman from Breckinridge County Middle School, Zachary Hess and Kaylee Davis from Farristown Middle School, emceed the KAHPERD Annual Awards at the Embassy Suites. This year, 21 schools were recognized as Fuel Up to Play 60 Touchdown Schools. Being a Touchdown School means the school goes above and beyond to ensure the students are physically active and receiving nutritious meals. The Dairy Alliance works with schools to help children achieve the recommended three daily serving of dairy. At the awards, several participants shared their enthusiasm for the Student Ambassadors’ involvement. The Dairy Alliance sponsored the event and presented awards to the Touchdown Schools.
