Warner Robbins’ Growing Breakfast Program

The Dairy Alliance recently checked in with Houston County Schools' Warner Robbins High School to see their Legacy 53 equipment in action. Legacy 53, a limited-time promotion sponsored by GENYOUth in honor of the 2019 Super Bowl held in Atlanta. To encourage breakfast participation, fifty-three schools throughout Georgia received a breakfast kiosk, rolling milk barrel and service tablet. After receiving the breakfast equipment, the cart was strategically placed between the student parking lot and the main campus to offer morning snacks to students heading to class that would otherwise not eat in the mornings. Since obtaining their equipment, Warner Robbins has seen a huge increase in breakfast participation and milk movement thanks to the equipment. Due to the breakfast cart, more students can enjoy dairy before the day's classes begin.
