Milk’s Got Game®: Georgia's Talyn Taylor Teams Up with His MVP—Mom
Down here in the South, football is more than a sport. While we all love the roar of the crowd on Saturday, the real game starts long before kickoff. This year, Milk’s Got Game is celebrating the athletes who shine under the stadium lights and the ones who helped get them there.
Talyn Taylor is a standout freshman player, and always standing with him is his mom. Venus is proof that champions aren’t built in the weight room. They’re raised at the breakfast table with a glass of milk.
Meet Talyn Taylor
Talyn Taylor might be one of the newest faces on the Georgia roster, but he’s no rookie when it comes to preparation.
Born and raised in Geneva, Illinois, Talyn made his mark at Geneva High School as a wide receiver, racking up 84 receptions for 1,617 yards and 24 touchdowns in his senior season, plus over 570 kick return yards. He’s known for making tough grabs look easy and turning short plays into long touchdowns. Rated a five-star recruit and ranked among the top wide receivers in his class, Talyn is no stranger to big plays or big expectations.
Behind the scenes, his mom has been a constant source of strength and support. Whether it was rides to early workouts, pep talks after tough losses, or making sure there was always real dairy milk in the fridge, she’s been there since day one, fueling his game and his goals.
Known for his quick feet and sharp focus, Talyn credits his mom, Venus, a retired softball player and now collegiate coach, with helping him stay on track.
“Real dairy milk gave me the edge when I was training as a kid, and it still makes a difference for me now,” said Talyn. “My mom knew the importance of it early on, and I rely on it to stay strong, bounce back, and perform at my best.”
Whether it’s powering through a workout or recovering after a long practice, real dairy milk has been helping Talyn stay energized and hydrated naturally.
Mom’s Got Game, Too
Milk’s Got Game is highlighting the MVPs behind our favorite athletes. Moms know best. They’re the ones who have been there through early mornings, long drives, big wins, and tough losses. They’ve poured more glasses of milk, packed more snacks, and washed more jerseys than anyone can count.
They’ve also helped raise strong, healthy athletes by making smart choices, like keeping real dairy milk in the rotation.
Milk’s Nutritional Lineup: Built for Performance
When it comes to keeping athletes fueled, milk plays all four quarters. Milk is a real contender on and off the field with its naturally smart combo of:
13 essential nutrients
8g of complete, high-quality protein
Hydrating electrolytes
Carbohydrates for energy
And it’s affordable, easy to find, and easy to drink, whether you're heading to practice or just tackling your to-do list.
Are you lactose-sensitive? No problem. Lactose-free milk is still real dairy milk with all the same benefits, just without the lactose that may cause discomfort.
Why Moms Still Reach for Milk
The moms behind athletes like Talyn know the value of smart choices. They’ve trusted milk to fuel their kids’ health and growth from the beginning. Now, as Talyn chases his dreams on college fields, Venus still stands behind the power of real dairy.
“From youth football to playoffs, milk gives Talyn the nutrients he needs to stay on top of his game,” Venus said.
Real dairy milk supports real performance in real life. Talyn’s got game. Do you?
