Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage patties until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Wipe out the skillet if needed and lightly grease it. Pour the eggs into the pan and cook over medium-low, letting the eggs set. Once set, turn off the heat and let it cool. Cut the cooked eggs into 4 sections in the skillet, or remove the eggs and cut them.

  3. Place the eggs in the bottom half of each muffin. Top with a sausage patty and a slice of cheddar cheese.

How do I freeze breakfast sandwiches?

Follow the recipe as stated and let assembled sandwiches cool completely. Once cooled, wrap each sandwich in parchment paper or aluminum foil, then place it in a freezer bag. Use within 2-3 months for the highest quality.

Why use real dairy foods in my breakfast sandwiches?

Real dairy foods offer high-quality protein and other nutrients. Getting an adequate amount of protein in your first meal sets you up for success early in the day.

How do I reheat breakfast sandwiches?

Reheat from frozen by microwaving for 1-1.5 minutes, checking at 30-second intervals, or reheating in an air fryer until thawed and crispy, about 5-6 minutes at 400F.
